Britney Spears, Tori Spelling Are Bridesmaids

Britney Spears took a break from being an, er, occasional pop star, to fulfill her duties as a bridesmaid to her gal pal and assistant Bret Miller, reports Us magazine. Brett married beau Frank Lionetti on Saturday in Miami, Florida. Britney was accompanied by her boyfriend, Jason Trawick, and we have to admit, the bridesmaid dress wasn’t all that attractive on her. She and Jason began the weekend by staying at the Newport Beachside Hotel, with other friends and family members from the wedding — but that didn’t last long.

By Friday, Brit Brit felt cramped in her hotel and claimed the pool wasn’t “private enough,” so she checked out and made her way over to the way posh Fontainebleau, staying in the Frank Sinatra Suite instead. The upgrade included a kitchen, whirlpool, piano, four bedrooms, and a large balcony overlooking the ocean. The cost? Just about $15,000 a night. (With that on a hotel room, we’re wondering what she shelled out for a wedding gift…) Britney and Jason were also spotted shopping throughout the weekend and enjoying the nightlife at club LIV. The wedding itself was held on Saturday at Miami’s Spanish Monastery.

But Britney wasn’t the only one who donned a blue bridesmaid dress last weekend. Tori Spelling also wore a strapless navy frock as a bridesmaid in her friend’s wedding on Saturday in Beverley Hills, reports Us magazine. Although Britney may have not pulled off the blue bridesmaid look very well, the same can’t be said for Tori Spelling who was also serving as a bridesmaid on Saturday in Beverly Hills. And while Britney apparently tried to be low-key, even standing off to the side during the ceremony, the same can’t be said for Tori. “”Honored to be in Amy’s bridal party. Amy [Colvin] is so truly beautiful — proud to be by her side!” the reality TV star tweeted on Saturday. Her friend, Amy Colvin, married Michael Kaz, an assistant editor on The Hurt Locker.
